Joanna Kuźma

Joanna is currently in her final year of a Master of Chemical and Process Engineering at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Over the years she was involved in several scientific projects, while the most important for her was FREDE project, a part of ESA BEXUS programme. During this project Joanna was responsible for the scientific part of the experiment. As a part of the Space is More group, she was also leading the work on the environmental control and life support system design in the project of habitat located on the surface of Phobos. Her fields of interests are bioprocess engineering, aeroponic and life support systems. In her free time, she likes to work with children, read books and watch movies.

Joanna is the astrobiologist and the youngest member of the Lunar Expedition 1 crew, responsible for leading biological experiments.
